Young Guns ‘Jam’ At T13

On Saturday 12th February the Young Guns (and big kids) met again for some more biking fun, this time the venue was T13 Skate park. If you have yet to visit this awesome venue we highly recommend you get down there and check it out....
On arrival the Young Guns had a guided tour of the massive Warehouse by Ramp Rage/ T13's Matt Gillespie, there were a few jaw dropping moments when they spotted some of the Ramp Rage team training on the MASSIVE jumps and perfecting their tricks for a very exciting year ahead. This venue offers everything you need for you Urban Sport followers from skate board, Bmx, Mtb and much much more.. It was vey refreshing to see such raw natural talent growing right here in Belfast.
Matt was awesome with the Young Guns and spent the two hour session teaching them basic skills on their own bikes over the various North Shore Obstacles, some of them were hitting the ramps at quite a pace by the end of the session 'while the parents nervously watched'....
Bikedock also had a few new bikes available for the Young Guns to try out for size and suitability during the session, this was a great opportunity for some of the parents to see the difference being on the right size bike can make. Some of the Dads (we will not mention any names) proved that they still had a passion for cycling and put their 'skills' to the test - thankfully they safely made their way around some of the obstacles without too much 'carnage'...
Well done everyone, what a great day we all had.... Keep spinning and we hope to see lots of faces out for the Spring League at Ormeau on Sunday 27th Feb.
