Race For Life 5km – What Hill ?!

You may think that the flash of hot pink Belles and Monthlies cycling gear is impressive on communal outings, but it's not a patch on the view of thousands of girls in hot pink streaming up the hill to Stormont during the Race For Life 5km event on Sunday. Oh yeah, what hill ?!
For many of the girls linked to us, this was their first or only their 2nd 5 km event – and every one of them finished buzzing, and eager for the next challenge. You know that RunHer do 10km events later in the year ?!
And never mind that, get yourself in a team of 3 and do the 5km leg of the UCF and Belles Tri A Tri 2 on Saturday 18 June....or do the swim and/or bike before the 5km too !
Alongside the adults on Sunday at Stormont, there were quite a few young primary school girls linked with us – including Emer Melville and Olivia Watson, who have participated in our Young Guns' MTB races. So they can do a 5km, can bike.....and given they can swim too, they'd be up for Tri A Tri - but unfortunately are too young to take part. So what's your excuse then adults ?! (hmmmmmm must look into staging kids events....)
