Bikedock Belles

The Belles Tri-A-Tri was Valerie's first experience of triathlon. Loving it so much, an exotic event was too good an opportunity to miss. Valerie was eager to participate in the family team in the relay event, with her brother-in-law Troy entered as the cyclist and her twin sister Susan entered as the runner. Due to injury however, Susan could not run, so Valerie ran the 5km with Troy at her side too.

The team finish time was 1hr 19min 39sec – swim 12min 20sec, bike 38min 30sec, run 28min 47sec.

And now that Valerie is home, and has a 2^nd event under her belt, there are no excuses for coming along and joining the Belles in future training sessions and planned multi-sport events, as well as the vast range of events that our own wee fantastic country has to offer – basically every weekend from now ! Have no doubt that the organisation and fun rank up there with anywhere in the world – we just don't get the guaranteed weather sometimes ! But hey, there's no such thing as bad weather – just the wrong kit !
