Belles Near The Top Of The World

Andrea and Taryn have come back from the bottom of the top of the world......having completed the gruesome Himalayan 100 Mile stage race on foot. The race took place for 5 consecutive days last week, starting on Monday and finishing on Friday, with the Belles effectively completing on average a marathon per day on extremely mountainous terrain at altitude in the foothills of Everest.
The two are safe and sound, but suffered greatly and felt far from on top of the world!
Despite the hardships, which included "the worst day of Andrea's life!!" (physically!), Andrea and Taryn ranked highly amid some elite runners from across the world. A total of 63 competitors undertook the challenge, 30 of which were female, and Taryn finished 5th female and 11th overall while Andrea ranked 9th female and 20th overall.
2 Belles ranking Top 10 female and Top 20 overall. . . .and not a bike in sight! (until the rickshaw race on return to Delhi!)
