Belles And Young Guns Make A Splash !

On Friday night the belles and the Young Guns made a splash - or several - at Shawsbridge in a privately organised kayak session ..... and waterpolo, and stunts, and capsizing and rescue missions !
The girls that had nearly drowned - sorry participated - in the debut session a few weeks ago arrived with a much more relaxed demeanour this time. Those that were newcomers had that look of fear about them!
The kids all arrived eager to get on the water - and then eager to get in it !
The girls were less eager, but in the water none-the-less !
After 2 hours of much paddling, capsizing, fun and laughter, the group pulled thier kayaks out of the water and were treated to the delights of chocolate muffins (courtesy of Dianne) and cadburys chocolates (courtesy of Fiona ... because she's not a domestic goddess!). Well, apart from those involved in a medical situation (please note, nothing to do with any kayaking accident) that resulted in an ambulance being called. The lengths some people go to for a massage !
