Ivan Park who has successfully hosted numerous adventure races throughout the province has very kindly offered to hold an afternoon on Sunday 31st October at 11.30am meeting at Bikedock, Ravenhill Road.
The dates for the CCAR series have been released and the entries now open. Ivan will have kayaks available that will be used for these events and has suggested going over some orienteering skills in Ormeau Park before your swim...oops I meant paddle!! Not only will this be highly entertaining but this is a great opportunity to learn some new skills that will be very useful over numerous events throughout the winter. This will also be an ideal opportunity to find a suitable team mate if you haven't yet paired up with someone.
For thoses of you who have asked 'do I need a wet suit'?? you really don't, however, being Halloween fancy dress is optional!

Kit:
running shoes, waterproof jacket, warm clothing (i.e.running tights, base layer, fleece)
Full change of clothing, not that you will need it!!!
