Every Saturday morning at the Waterworks in Belfast, Parkrun hold a timed 5k race.
It's free to enter, all you have to do is register your details online & in return you get an 'id' (barcode). Bring this along on Saturdays and you'll get your times recorded.
A great way to push yourself to do a fast 5k & compare online each week throughout the year to see how much you improve.
I've already registered. See you there next week.

The run starts at 9.30am. I think you need to register online by 6pm on the Fri before your 1st run. You only need to register once, after that just bring your ‘barcode’ each week.
