Life is one biiiiiiiiggggggg adventure – and that's apart from getting involved with the Belles! All 4 of us love the great outdoors and adventurous activities – and Northern Ireland is the perfect playground for it all. The weekend of 9-10 April celebrates outdoor activities and allows everybody, of any (or no!) ability to give outdoor sports a go at totally bargain prices! Get yourself booked in now!
Of particular interest for wannabe offroad bikers and adventure racers, there are two courses run by Craig McCullough and Outdoor Concepts.
Craig is a fabulous and enthusiastic instructor, brave enough to spend a night last year in the Mournes with Julie and Andrea in a bid to teach them how to see in the dark!! He also took Taryn and Andrea out in the dark on Strangford Lough to kayak, managing to put them right when they mixed up bird sounds and seal sounds!, and also lead Andrea and Jen Watson up Slieve Bearnagh for a 200m abseil. . . where his encouragement was particularly needed !
During the Adventureland Northern Ireland weekend on 9-10 April he is running a kayak intro at Castlewellan on Saturday 9 April. This activity is available in three time slots:
1000-1200
1215-1415
1430-1630

On Sunday 10 April there is a fantastic Mountain Biking session at Leitrim Carpark. This event also has three time slots:

If the Adventure weekend isn't feasible for such low cost, Craig has offered to provide skills courses for Bikedock Belles followers at a reduced rate on another weekend or an evening – either in the Mournes or around Belvoir / Shawsbridge.
